"My Encounter with the People of Repoobos is engaging right from the start, as we the reader are dropped straight into this new world just like George. The premise is simple- experienced explorer George Lancaster discovers a whole new society while exploring a cave system, made up of two different social groups called Repoobos and Democlos.  The plot revolves around a clash between the two factions over disagreements on building new housing in Upper Town, near the waterway that separates the groups. While this novel cannot really be described as a thrilling, glittering action- heavy piece of writing, it's the wider societal reflections that this clash exposes that makes it an interesting read and makes Nadler an excellent storyteller."

A delicate pink flower against a dark background.
